I would expect a little better for £130 a night.

The central location made the hotel a good base

The aircon was some what of a problem, moved to another room with a very poor configeration. Hot water in the bath room was intermitant

The front desk and housekeeping staff were lovely and...

The front desk and housekeeping staff were lovely and helpful.

It was old and tired. Our air-conditioning unit was rather noisy, but thankfully quite cold. The rooms felt dusty and a cockroach crawled over my toe one morning. Thankfully, it was quite slow and I managed to smash it. We reported it to the housekeeping crew who were very apologetic and cleaned our room immediately. As an old hotel, insulation was poor and we could hear the music from the bar quite clearly til late into the night. For the price we paid, I expected more from this hotel.

Smell of drain. Poor maintenance room and building. Aloof personnel. Breakfast after first hour buffet not complete anymore. Very noisy 9n third floor because of band playing at max volume. Headache Wi-Fi system with hourly scratch cards.

Wont be back to stay here.

Concierge taff was very stuck-up and rude. You ask a question, they scoff and roll their eyes and reply with a short or one worded answer. Room smells like mold, pillows extremely hard.

Beautiful older hotel, impeccably maintained.

Beautiful older hotel, impeccably maintained. Had a small issue with the AC, but maintenance took care of it right away. Friendly staff. Great location.

Breakfast was not up to par with the other food that we experienced in Havana. Not bad, just boring.

Central location and very noisy...

The location was excellent. If you want a trip in a old car this is the place to start from.

Noise : The hotel has a bar / seating area downstairs on the ground floor. The volume of the music downstairs fills the halls and the room if your on the 1st floor. Our room had old style wooden doors to the small patio (which overlooked the alleyway), where additional noise from the alleyway next to the hotel filtered through. You wont be able to sleep until at least 2am/3am when they stop playing. Breakfast : The breakfast area is not well managed, so you could end up waiting ages in the morning for a table. WIFI : Forget WIFI connection here. They do give you a free 1 hour card, but if you want more then don't rely on it. We stayed 2 nights, and could not purchase additional wifi, as their allocation had run out. Don't bank on great speeds either!

great location but that's it!

Only thing I liked to be honest was the location.

The rooms were so noisy, even with earplugs. So expensive 300-400USD a night. NO Credit cards worked. very difficult when you try to check out with a 1000USD bill and they only will take cash, Breakfast was awful. No water given apart from when you check in. But they did give you a small bottle of Havana Club.

We would love to return amazing

Our room was incredible room 215 over looking the square and had two balconies front and side. It was fabulous listening to the live music downstairs whilst getting ready to go out. We had a WiFi card given to us and water and rum in our room which we enjoyed would highly recommend. Oh and the piano playing at breakfast was wonderful we were so relaxed. Drinks and snacks on the roof terrace amazing excellent cocktails ????

colonial style at its best

location is perfect to walk around the old part of havanna, the colonial style in and outside is marvelous, specially the lobby and restaurant area, rooms are big and bathrooms funcional, roof terrace (4th floor) ok but noisy at night when your room is at the third floor

no late check-out possible, restrooms at groundfloor dirty, no paper, filthy. people from outside coming fotografing while beeing at breakfast (no hotel guests!)

It was so gorgeous.

I loved that it was vintage well maintained and professional staff. Very clean and in the heart of Havana. Very worth it,all day entertainment and beautifully taken care of. The staff are nice,the Best is Alex front desk! Our maid Acenrys very awesome! Server the Best is Neima she hustled!

The hotel was uncomfortable and depressing.

The central location, walking distance from many of the sights and restaurants we patronized.

The room was small, dark and dingy. The shower barely piddled water. And, anywhere else in the world this room would have cost less than half the $300 per night rate that we had paid for in advance. In addition, the persistent, loud and virtually-nonstop salsa band that played directly beneath our window made sleeping difficult until the music stopped around midnight. And when we asked to change rooms we were told the hotel was sold out. The person at the front desk was amazingly uninformed about the neighborhood, including where guests would feel comfortable changing money.

It is close to everywhere you like to go.

It is close to everywhere you like to go. In the city center. Stuff on top bar are very helpful and positive attitude.

I reserved especially one big bed from booking.com however they gave me two separate beds room. I do remember that I pay small amount extra to stay in a big size bed but they told me that they have that room available. Also the rooms are very noisy during the day and the nights from outside (due to jazz bars downstairs and upstairs). With that price I would expect more good quality services, hotel provide. Except room type and being a noisy environment, everything else was good.

Hotel Inglaterra La Habana, Great place to be in Cuba!! The location is just great, you will live the cuban experience. It is a classic hotel with the havana flavor. The rooms are clean as well as the bathroom. The beds are confortable and if you want to rest that is the place to stay in. The food is fabulous specially at the terrace and the music also.
